When an opportunity opened up for John, owner of JACKBAR, he jumped on a gem in lively Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The old bar required custom work, plus some extra elbow grease, as the years left their marks – and not in a good way.

His new contract required to leave the old bar intact, so the solution was to build a new bar around/on top of it, to cover up the old.

We created the bar top out of solid walnut, while the custom cladding was painted to replicate a lived-in feel. In addition side tables and benches were designed in a warm, inviting style with metal striped details.
